One of the theaters in my home town celebrate its 200 year jubilee with a special show and a masquerade where people were supposed to dress up in clothes from this period.
Sadly, I couldn't attend, but my mum is so I still got the oppertunity to play dress up. Anyway, in this case not much of the costume is actually home made. Mum had bought the skirt for a New Years party, I bought her the blose (because it's perfect and she'd never buy it for herself - but OMG, are those modern; its from H&M!), the hat is a summer hat made of straw that I decorated to make it more Edwardian and the shawl is also new. The necklace and the shoes are old things we had at home. The silk ribbon at the waist is bought especially for this outfit and the bag is the one I made for my McGonagall costume. Think it turned out really good though. And for once I managed to get hold of exactly what I had in mind when we planned it - that never happens! Hope you like it... Oh and for the background I used one of wokstar's Baroque brushes: [link] And the swirl is made by PaldimoMedia: [link] |

Nästan så hon hade kunnat följa med på era Harry Potter events, om hatten byttes ut mot en spetsig modell
